The next Conference Molecular Biology of Plants of the Section Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology of the DBG will take place 11th to 14th February 2020 in Dabringhausen, Germany. It will be organized by Prof. Dr. Rüdiger Hell (Heidelberg University), Prof. Dr. Stefan Rensing (Marburg University), Prof. Dr. Marcel Quint (Martin-Luther-Universität Halle-Wittenberg).

Travel Allowances for PhD students

Young scientist are invited to apply for travel allowances to participate in the conference Molecular Biology of Plants 2020, which will be 250 Euros each. It will be given exclusively to students without full employment, who are members of the Section Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology. The Section and conference organizers will select the best proposals by mid of November so that applicants will be informed before Christmas holidays.

Application Procedure

Please tick the box in the registration form and send us an e-mail until November 7th 2019 containing a single, only one-page long pdf document:

  • Your name
  • Your affiliation and name of your PI
  • Your abstract
  • Your motivation and impact statement why you apply for the travel allowance and why your project should be presented at this particular conference.
